" Can the Church Survive the Pandemic?"

Rom.8:28,

Romans 8:28 KJV 1900

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Question: Will the Pandemic bring the Church together & survive or will it separate the Church & be its demise?

The Pandemic is bad news, but the Gospel is good news!

Is this the awakening the Church needed & has prayed for? Did it kill or save the Church? Church RE-defined.

It has been said that 1 in 5 Churches will close permanently.

…Ppl wouldn’t support their own ministry, so the Church struggled financially…(wanted to see it live, but not give)!

Had we become the Church of Omission rather than Commission? Too comfortable & forgot about our true mission.

…brought us out of our church cliques & clubs to online…that’s where the Church lives (phones)! You’ll catch us there.

The enemy has us so consumed w/the cares of the world…Is there a cure? What about masks? Should I get the vaccine? What is the media saying? Can I catch COVID again?

The Bible says to think on things that are pure…of a good report. Whose report will you believe?

This Pandemic has caused the Church to embrace change & re-think outside of the norm(box).

Everything that the Church was accustomed to has been re-organized or re-established.

We got to comfortable in the bldg & forgot why we were called in the 1st place. We’ve allowed passing out tracks & bibles to replace true witness. (those are great tools)…confusing strategy w/purpose.

Leaders were challenged on whether to stay open or close…either way, many became stressed, depressed & suicidal.

How’s your soul during this Pandemic? Did it bring us closer to God or away from Him?

So, can the Church survive? Yes it can & it will…Jesus is our HOPE!

It takes Faith to survive…that’s what Jesus will look for when He returns. He said, “Will I find Faith in the earth?”

Some ppl w/never return to the bldg…many out of fear & some because of their excuses.

This Pandemic really showed where the Church stood…it showed our weakness & lack of trust in God.

This Pandemic was a “Sifter”…it shook the Church! It humbled some & hid others.

in an uproar and everyone all over the world in a panic, the wind knocked out of them by the threat of doom, the powers-that-be quaking.

We’re not really facing a Pandemic but a Plan-demic…God knows the plans He has for the Church.

…He’s taking us from Employed to Deployed. (from inside job to outside) Field, Harvest.

There’s JOY on the other side of the Pandemic…The gates of Hell shall not prevail!
